Welcome to The Centrist Aspie. This blog is written by somebody with Asperger's Syndrome who happens to fall slap bang in the middle of the political compass. I feel that centrism has alot of stick in the political world, especially in the UK. Universities will slam you for being too right leaning, gammons will call you "leftie scum" and the only centrist party with seats want to cancel Brexit. The reality however, for many centrists, is that we are often the ones finding compromises. Now of course, there will always be exceptions to this, for example it is very difficult to find compromise when a decision is binary, Brexit being the perfect example of this. So before you start to read my opinions of the hell hole that is UK politics, here are some ground rules: Free Speech is welcome just make sure you back up your arguments with relevant sources.
